Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of The Furry Database, a community-maintained catalogue of fursuits, builders, fursonas and events. By browsing the site, submitting an entry or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

The database is a reference resource built from community contributions. Entries can be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate, and we cannot guarantee that a listing, price, queue position or event detail is correct. Always confirm details with the maker or organiser before relying on them.

Keep the email address on your account accurate and your sign-in method secure, and tell us if you believe someone else has access to it. You are responsible for what is done through your account, including any submission made while you are signed in.

Only add photos, artwork and text that you have the right to share, and credit the photographer or artist wherever the site offers a field for it. Do not list a fursuit you do not own, claim a builder profile that is not yours, or upload reference sheets you were not given permission to publish. What you contribute stays yours; by submitting it you allow us to display, resize and share it on the site.

Treat other members with respect. Harassment, hateful content, impersonation, deliberate misinformation about a maker or owner, spam, and bulk scraping or automated harvesting of the database are not allowed. Entries that break these rules may be edited, hidden or removed, and accounts that repeatedly break them may be suspended without notice.

Builder profiles may be claimed by the person running that workshop, and a verification badge is only granted on evidence an admin has reviewed. Reviews must describe a genuine experience with that maker. Where a suit-to-maker link was self-declared rather than confirmed on both sides, the site marks it as such.

Some listings link to external sites, including maker shops, event pages and social accounts. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or their privacy practices. Builder information adapted from the fuzzrake-data dataset is used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence, as credited in the site footer.

If you own material that appears on the site without your permission, report it through the Report an Issue form or contact us and we will look into it promptly. We will remove or correct content where there is a valid claim.

Features, entries and these terms may change as the site develops. We may add, suspend or withdraw parts of the site, and we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on information in the database, from content contributed by other members, or from the site being unavailable.
